"I first encountered Cinema for All when I attended one of their conferences aimed at student cinema societies. At the time, I was working with my own to facilitate and fund the installation of a digital projector. In community cinema, each word has equal weight. Screening films at accessible times and prices is important, but building fellowship and companionship among attendees, and finding films that speak to the groups served, marks these hubs apart from the multiplex."
Carmen is a communications and publications professional and freelance arts critic. With a keen interest in film distribution and exhibition in the changing digital landscape, she gained her MA in International Film Business from the London Film School / University of Exeter. She brings experience in financial services consulting, digital transformation, press and communications, audience development, and wider arts economies.
