Snippets From The Cinema For All Archive
The Cinema For All team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Leicester on 8th September for the opening of ‘Snippets from the Cinema For All Archive’, an exhibition showcasing over 75 years of community cinema history. The exciting event marked the start of our new heritage project in partnership with Dr. Matthew Jones of De Montfort University. Alongside showcasing just a handful of beautiful materials from our extensive archives, it was a great chance to discuss the history of both our organisation and the movement with our members, as well as how we can all play our part in making sure the archive is updated, preserved and accessible for all.
If you couldn't join us on the day, the exhibition will remain open at Trinity Chapel, Leicester, and is free to visit on 25/09/22 and 30/10/22. If you would like to schedule attend outside of these open days, please contact museum@dmu.ac.uk to schedule a visit.
