LAUNCHPAD AND SUSTAIN ALUMNI DAY

Cinema For All is very excited to announce our first Launchpad and Sustain Alumni Day!

The event will take place on 7 March at Custard Factory, Birmingham.

Graduates of our Launchpad and Sustain training programmes are invited to a exciting and informative day where you will meet your fellow community cinema volunteers, reflect on your challenges and successes, and receive top up coaching from the expert Cinema For All team!

There will also be a preview screening in the brilliant Mockingbird Cinema and a certificate ceremony to congratulate all of the wonderful Launchpad and Sustain graduates who have taken part over the last 5 years.

APPLICATIONS FOR SUSTAIN 2020 ARE NOW OPEN!

Cinema For All is pleased to announce that applications for Sustain are now open!

Whether you’re an established group that is doing well but looking at new ideas to expand or you’ve been screening films for a while and would like a little bit of extra help to keep the cinema going, Sustain can help!

Our BFI funded coaching programme, Sustain, offers existing community cinemas who have been running for 2+ years intensive support via three free coaching sessions in different areas of their choice. These include, marketing and social media, equipment, audience development, outreach, fundraising and more! The coaching sessions are delivered over Skype so they can be arranged at a time that suits you.

Not only do you get access to three free coaching sessions but you also will receive a £200 bursary to help you fund further developments for your community cinema e.g. a new website or logo design, further training, attending an event or to try out some marketing that might not have been in the budget before.

In the four years that Sustain has been running, we have supported 39 groups across the UK with coaching and bursary support to help them continue and flourish.

Apply for Sustain Fresh Start!

We are offering a limited number of places for existing community cinema groups on our BFI funded Sustain Fresh Start Programme. This opportunity is designed to help you identify and improve on areas of your operation and help you achieve your ideas and includes; three 90 minute Skype coaching sessions with our expert Cinema For All team on marketing and publicity, fundraising and outreach, immersive cinema, audience development, technical advice and more! Participants also get a £200 bursary which may be used towards filling a gap in your skillset identified through your coaching sessions. Perhaps you’d like to have a logo or website designed or get extra training?

Applications now open for Launchpad and Sustain!

Back for 2018, Cinema For All is excited to launch our two intensive coaching and support avenues for community cinemas and film societies –Launchpad and Sustain. Apply now to get started in the New Year!

Designed to support new groups through their test phase, Launchpad provides intensive coaching, as well as bursaries to help you put on your first two test screenings in your community (£150 for each screening).

Aimed at existing groups that might be in need of some extra support, Sustain is designed to help you identify and improve on areas of your operation through coaching, programme support and access to a one-off £150 bursary.

If you are serious about developing your brand new community cinema, or getting that extra advice and support to boost your existing activity, apply now to receive intensive one-to-one coaching form the Cinema For All team. Previous graduates of Launchpad and Sustain include current Film Society of the Year Leigh Film Society and Best New Society The Picturehouse, Ballyclare.
