As proud members of the International Federation of Film Societies, we love to hear about the remarkable history of sharing films in countries far and wide. In celebration of The Teachers’ Protest being part of Curate, we thought it would be lovely to delve into another side of Norway’s history – the Norwegian film society movement. Film Studies Professor, Gunner Iversen has kindly written an article detailing the wonderful passion of film societies in Norway across the decades.
