Call out for archive photos from community cinemas and film societies!
We’re excited to share that as part of our 2025 celebrations of 100 years of community cinema, we’re making a short documentary exploring the rich history of this incredible movement and the passionate individuals who keep it alive.
For this special project we would love to help build the picture of this extraordinary movement, with photos from your own archive! These could be past programmes, posters, special screenings, team photos or even the setting up of your venues.
How to get involved:
- Please send up to 4 photos to info@cinemaforall.org.uk
- Use the subject line ‘100 Years Film’
- Please only send photos that you give us permission to use and make sure that you have the permission of the people in the photos*.
- Send photos by 15th April 2025.
- Please note, we cannot guarantee the use and inclusion of your photos in the finished film.
Thank you for taking part in this special project! The documentary will premiere at the special 100 years celebration event later in the year. More details to be announced soon.
*By submitting the images, you are giving us a permission to use them in the film, for promotion of the film and of the movement (including, but not limited to our, Cinema For All's social media, newsletter, posters). Please write a max 15 word credit for each image.
