BFI National Lottery Audience Projects Fund
We’re very excited to announce that Cinema For All has been successful in our application for support from the BFI National Lottery Audience Projects Fund for our project ‘100 Years of Community Cinema: 2025 and beyond - Ensuring 100 More Years of UK-wide, Diverse Audiences for Volunteer-led Cinema.’ This funding will go towards celebrating a century of community cinema in the UK and ensuring another hundred years of grassroots volunteer-led film exhibition. Most importantly, we’ll be able to fund organisations to take part in this celebration of our shared history through support for screenings and host of other activities.
Festival of Community Cinema
A nation-wide festival of community cinema running from October - December 2025, showcasing the inspirational and innovative programming of volunteer-led cinemas over the past 100 years. There will be a curated menu of titles available to screen as part of the festival. We’re excited to have £30,000 in bursaries to distribute between participants.
Stay tuned for more exciting news on how you can get involved, and if you haven’t already, stay up to date with our 100 years celebrations over on mycommunitycinema.org.uk.
