Thu 26 Jun – Tue 12 Jul, Nationwide

This summer, the BFI is hosting a series of nine roadshows across the UK and launching an online consultation to help them set their strategy for 2017-2022. Cinema For All members are strongly encouraged to attend a roadshow near you.

At each roadshow there will be a brief overview of what BFI have been doing as part of Film Forever along with a national or regional snapshot of our local activity and support. This will be followed by a general panel and audience discussion centered on the key themes noted above, film exhibitor priorities and how exhibitors want the BFI to make a difference. You will then have a choice to explore key priorities in greater detail through a choice of two of the following workshops:

  • Dr Paul Gerhardt, Education led by BFI Director of Education
  • Ben Luxford, Audiences led by BFI Head of UK-wide Audiences
  • Heather Stewart, Heritage led by BFI Creative Director
  • Ben Roberts, Supporting the future success of British film led by BFI Director of Film Fund
