BE ON THE BARCELONA INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL FICC JURY

We are looking for a Cinema For All Member to potentially represent community cinemas across the country and be on the FICC Jury at the 2020 L’Alternativa Film Festival (Barcelona Independent Film Festival), from 16 November – 29 November!

Taking place online this year, L’Alternativa showcases outstanding tributes, premieres, little-known films, work by new directors and a programme of family screenings.

The FICC Jury will consist of three people; one representative from Catalonia and two from other countries. As part of the jury panel, you must see 10 different films online from 16 November, and  the jury must have decided on the winner by 25 November 2020. It’s an incredible opportunity as you will have full access to all of the festival’s online events.

Also, as a representative for Cinema For All, we will look to you to uncover some great, new films for our Booking Scheme and write a report on your experiences at the festival afterwards, which will feature on the Cinema For All website and on our social media channels. Earlier this year, Terry Cloke from Ipswich Film Society was selected to be on the FICC Jury at Krakow International Film Festival, read his wonderful report on his experience here.

To apply, please download and complete the application form and return to Ellie by midday on Monday 5 October.
