Run a community cinema but want to develop a new idea?
Looking to enrich your team’s skills?

Whether you’re an established group that is doing well but looking to expand, or you’ve been screening films for a while and would like a little bit of extra help to keep the cinema going, Sustain can help!

Our BFI funded coaching programme, Sustain, offers existing community cinemas who have been running for 2+ years intensive support via three free coaching sessions in different topics, including:

  • Audience development and immersive cinema
  • Marketing and social media
  • Fundraising
  • Equipment
  • Film programming
  • Outreach
  • Accessibility
  • Sustainability

The coaching sessions are delivered by one of the friendly, expert Cinema For All team, and will take place over Skype so that we can find a time that is convenient for you.

We will also do an entrance evaluation before your coaching sessions begin to assess what areas you’d like to develop in and to set some goals so we can best tailor the coaching to your group’s needs!

You will also receive a toolkit with helpful resources to help you during Sustain and beyond.

You also get access to a £200 bursary to help develop your community cinema, be it with extra training, attending an event or having a logo or website designed.

In the four years Sustain has been running, we have supported 39 groups across the UK with coaching and bursary support to help them continue to flourish.
