Are you a community cinema or community exhibitor that could help others?
With On the Ground we are looking to not only recruit groups who are looking for assistance, but also those who are willing to share their knowledge and skills with others, to become our On the Ground Champions.
Running a community cinema provides you with valuable expertise in areas such as Marketing and Programming that could be vital in assisting other groups. By becoming an On the Ground Champion, you can put these skills to good use and help others develop their ideas and reach out to their communities through film.
Being an On the Ground Champion is easy, all it involves is you doing any of the below:
- Host a group at one of your existing screenings. Share your expertise and give them a tour of your venue and set up.
- Lead a workshop on a topic in community cinema exhibition, such as Equipment Training, Programming, Marketing The Cinema For All team can help guide you on how to run these workshops.
- Inform new and existing community cinemas about services that will help them such as Cinema For All, C Fylm, Cinema For All South West and Film Hub South West.
- Spread the word about community cinema!
In return we will be able to provide you with FREE training for your group and travel expenses to support you with visiting other community cinema’s!
