The BFI funded coaching programme includes four online coaching sessions via Zoom with the friendly, expert Cinema For All team which will help guide you with all the information and inspiration to get your cinema started! You will also receive a £200 bursary to cover the costs of your first screening.

“As a young deafblind person, the Cinema For All Launchpad program has given me the confidence and tools to form an accessible community cinema. Abi and Ellie were wonderful to work with, and they consulted with me about the format of the sessions, ensuring that my needs were met. I now feel like I have the knowledge to create a successful community cinema that will accommodate deaf and blind cinema goers. I highly recommend this program, and I can’t wait for more inclusive community cinemas to open up around the country.” – Caption This Cinema

Cinema For All values diversity and we encourage applications from people of African or Caribbean heritage, people of South, East and South East Asian heritage, people who experience racism, LGBTQI+ people and people with disabilities.

As a BFI supported initiative there is priority given to programmes that support British, independent and specialised cinema. You can read the BFI’s definition of specialised cinema here.
