75th Anniversary Fundraising

75th Anniversary Fundraising

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit community cinemas hard, putting a hold on activity all across the four nations for many, many months. It’s also heavily impacted Cinema For All, limiting many of our services — such as our equipment hire and booking schemes — as groups have been unable to operate.

During 2020-21, we lost around 75% of our earned income, even though we have seldom been busier. We’ve been launching new initiatives such as our LIFT scheme to support the sector, working with partner organisations to offer grants and bursaries to groups to help them reopen, and taking our much-loved Community Cinema Conference and Film Society of the Year Awards totally online. As we approach our exciting 75th-anniversary celebrations, we also appeal for help in a campaign that marks the occasion.

We have launched a fundraising appeal with an ambitious target of raising £75,000 for our 75th Anniversary, to help us continue to provide vital support to the community cinema sector

To kick off the fundraising campaign, we’re pleased to share this appeal from a good friend of Cinema For All, filmmaker, critic, and programmer Mark Cousins.

If you are able to help with any size of donation, please do so using the button below. As always, we are extremely grateful and humbled by your support.
