SCREENING SHORT FILMS

Short films can be a great way of bolstering your programme, whether by supporting a main feature or by putting together a whole evening of shorts.

Sourcing great short films, however, can be tricky, but Cinema For All is here to help.

SHORT FILM PACKAGES FROM CINEMA FOR ALL

Encounters– Best of British Short Film Package

Encounters is the UK’s leading short film and animation festival. The festival discovers, supports and develops new talent in filmmaking, providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers from around the world, and a unique meeting place for the industry.

Encounters has put together Best of British, a short film package comprising six short films.

You can screen the films as many times as you like in a 12 month period as a package, or individually. (Please note you must have signed up under this scheme by 1 September 2017 to ensure a full 12 months’ usage. You can still book the short film packages after this date.) You will need to obtain local classification (age certificate) for the shorts from your local council.

discover.film Tutti Frutti Short Film Packages

discover.film are a short film distributor providing a platform for short films from around the world. They also run a short film festival, the Discover Film Awards and help filmmakers create short films via their discover.film academy. discover.film have provided Cinema For All with two short film packages – Tutti Frutti and Tutti Frutti 2 – available for members and associates to book

You can screen these two discover.film shorts packages as many times as you like in a 12 month period. (Please note: you must have signed up under this scheme by 30 April 2018 to ensure full usage of the 12 month period. You can still book the short film packages after this date.) You will need to obtain local classification (age certificate) for the shorts from your local council.

You can screen the shorts individually, or as a package.

Save money by purchasing both packages together  for £160.

The Halas & Batchelor Short Film Collection

Available from the Cinema For All Booking Scheme, this collection of animated short films both remind and reinforce how stunningly innovative, whimsically humorous and subversively entertaining John Halas and Joy Batchelor’s (Animal Farm) four-decade body of work was, and is.

Buster Keaton: the Complete Short Films 1917-1923

A complete selection of Buster Keaton’s short films filmed between 1917-1923. You can either screen as many shorts as you like in a single screening for the usual Booking Scheme price of £85; or book single shorts for £30 per screening.
